The prayers and invocations in this manual have been transmitted by A'lāhadrat Imām Ahmad Ridā Khān al-Qādirī t, and collated, with invocations, by Hujjat al-Islām Shaykh Hāmid Ridā Khān t, al-Mufti al-A'zam Shaykh Mustafā Ridā Khān t, and al-Mufassir al-A'zam Shaykh Ibrāhīm Ridā Khān "Jīlānī Miyā" t. All Du'as and supplications have been taken from the Qur'an, the Sunnah or transmitted from heart to heart from the Awliya.
This indispensible handbook is a translation of al-Wazīfat al-Karīmah and includes Arabic supplications with transliteration for easy recitation and memorization. The book starts with an introduction into the essence of du'a - its importance and its power. Thereafter, the main text of Al-Wazifat al-Karimah is presented with the Arabic text coupled with the transliteration and a translation. Additional supplications have been included in the subsequent chapters followed by a Chapter on Salawat [Durud] upon the Noble Messenger SallALLAHu alayhi wa Sallam. The book ends with a chapter on the famous book on Salawat: Dala'il al-Khayrat sharif & its author.

Imām Ahmad Ridā Khān t (b. 1272 AH/1856 CE) was a renowned Hanafī jurist, hadīth expert and theologian par excellence, recognized by scholars from the Islamic world to be a reviver of his era. He was a prolific writer whose legal edicts were gathered into twelve encyclopedic volumes and covered almost every science of his day.
