It is a practical guide for the believer [mūmin]. If the wayfarer [sālik] sincerely applies its teachings he will traverse the stages of the path by his spiritual state so that for him knowledge is experience. The prayers and invocations in this manual have been transmitted by A'lāhadrat Imām Ahmad Ridā Khān al-Qādirī t, and collated, with invocations, by Hujjat al-Islām Shaykh Hāmid Ridā Khān t, al-Mufti al-A'zam Shaykh Mustafā Ridā Khān t, and al-Mufassir al-A'zam Shaykh Ibrāhīm Ridā Khān "Jīlānī Miyā" t. This indispensible handbook is a translation of al-Wazīfat al-Karīmah and includes Arabic supplications with transliteration for easy recitation and memorization. The book starts with an introduction into the essence of du'a - its importance and its power. Thereafter, the main text of Al-Wazifat al-Karimah is presented with the Arabic text coupled with the transliteration and a translation. Additional supplications have been included in the subsequent chapters followed by a Chapter on Salawat [Durud] upon the Noble Messenger SallALLAHu alayhi wa Sallam. The book ends with a chapter on the famous book on Salawat: Dala'il al-Khayrat sharif & its author.
