In these lectures, given in the Holy City of Madina in the summer of 2008, Abdal Hakim Murad speaks about the beauty of the Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallim. The recordings take the form of a detailed commentary on Book Twenty of the Revival of the Religious Sciences (Ihya' Ulum al-Din), by Imam al-Ghazali (d.1111). This book, entitled The Courtesies of Life and the Qualities of Prophethood, is dedicated to the celebration of the perfections of the Holy Prophet, Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallim. It considers his love for his Lord, as expressed in every action of his life, and every state of his heart, and shows how the details of his life, even in everyday matters of food, drink, dress, and the way he walked and smiled, and his forgiving and mild nature, were expressions of his constant and loving remembrance of his Creator.
